Desktop Specs Versus Handhelds
Steam's listed PC targets are Windows guidance for 1080p low and 1440p high presets, plus 50 GB storage. They cannot predict Deck controls, text size, battery life, shader behaviour, or Proton compatibility. A desktop benchmark is not a handheld certification.
Live Deck Check Procedure
Open the current Steam store page while signed in, read Valve's compatibility panel and recent update notes, then test your own settings if you buy. A third-party clip is a lead with a particular build and configuration, not a platform-wide fact.
