Review embargo

August 27, 2026 is the Steam release date, not a critic-publication timestamp. The preview creator says a full review is planned at or near the embargo, but does not state when that embargo lifts.

No Exact Embargo Time Is Published

Skill Up's hands-on impressions video was uploaded on August 11, 2026. The presenter says a full review will come at or near the embargo, yet he does not reveal the embargo's date or hour. That wording confirms only that the preview and a later review are different pieces of coverage.

Nothing in the still resembles a calendar, countdown, email, outlet logo, embargo stamp, publication dashboard, or nondisclosure term.

Do Not Substitute a Nearby Date

Three clocks answer three different questions. The August 11 video date tells when that preview became public. Steam's August 27 release date tells when the store expects the game to launch. A review embargo would tell participating reviewers when restricted full-review coverage may be published.

A countdown based on the release date therefore would be misleading on this page. Even a full review appearing online would prove that review's publication time, not by itself disclose the underlying agreement, its time zone, or whether the same terms applied to every outlet.

What to Verify When Reviews Appear

Record each article or video's publication time, tested platform, stated build or patch, completion level, and whether it is still labeled preview or review.

A cluster of full reviews can show that substantive coverage is available. It still does not make every verdict equivalent: outlets may have tested different hardware, reached different points in the campaign, or emphasized different player concerns. Read the disclosure attached to the coverage you plan to rely on.
